I love this guy's take on Cheney.

"Cheney looked like a cadaverous tumor with jowels. It's hard to take someone with an perpetual smirk on his face seriously. For the past several weeks (and a simple Google search will confirm this), Cheney has asserted a direct tie between Saddam and Al-Qaeda that led to 9/11 (and a current Gallup poll shows an alarming number of people who believe this). When Edwards confronted him with facts, he back-pedaled, minced words, stamped, snorted and changed the subject."

I live in a red state, too, and whenever a major election approaches, signs for Republican candidates are everywhere. Not this time. I hope that's a good sign, but who knows.
