While working today ....

I presently am employed by the city I live in. On Monday mornings I take a dump truck and empty all the trash barrels through out the city. Today... in a barrel near the Flat river, when I took off the top of the container...I saw a folder with some papers in it. I was a little curious and picked it up to see what it was.

It was a file of an unemployed Veteran. It was from the Michigan Works department. Along with it... a jumbo of Miller Lite in a brown paper bag.

I could picture him sitting at the picnic table alongside the Flat River ... going over his paper work from Mich. Works and drinking from his bottle. Finally.. just getting pissed and throwing it all away.

I don't know that this was the case.... but... it sure looked like it.....

How many lives have to be ruined before sheeple start realizing that it is this administration that is doing this to us. When will they quit blaming Clinton? How long does it take to get things going in the right direction?....

I was in the Public Works office today talking to the Superintendant...when two National Guard members came in. Both in full military garb....Both were getting things in order to be shipped out on Oct. 28th. It really affected me. These guys were going to risk their lives because they have been ordered there by this administration.

My thought was "I wonder if they will ever be unemployed Veterans, like the one that was at that park this weekend?"

Both events seem small, but it just makes me so pissed that this is all happening...Iraq, our health care, the economy, our enviroment...God help us if .... I can't go there... Kerry has to win.

3. I understand your frustration

I see homeless men hanging out by our freeways. They wear their old military jackets to keep warm.

My heart just breaks when I think about the sacrifices they made for me and this is how we repay them. We stare at them from the comforts of our vehicles while they sleep on concrete.

It's a tragedy. We need a MAN in office who can help these people. * is a disgrace and needs to go!

I will unemployed at the end of the month....... yet we are turning the corner chimp says. Kerry give me hope... chimp gives me dis pare.

5. When you think that many of the people who we ask

to risk making the ultimate sacrifice, started with so little to begin with, it really ticks you off. Even working people assume that these people don't want to work and say things like, "well they could work at McDonalds if they really wanted to work." I see people standing at the side of the highways as well and it tears my heart up.
