bush earpiece transmission caught on newsfeed June 2nd?
http://theleftist.blog-city.com/read/652304.cfm

I've never heard this story before - what would be the odds of anyone having this tape somewhere or having the ability of getting it from some news org?

1. This can go alongside freeper charges that Kerry took the debate
questions out of his breast pocket.

2. I think this was debunked, even here
and due to feedback or echo or some such thing.

Yes, I'm too lazy to look it up.

3. Someone should jam the frequencies, so Bush gets a squeek in his ear.
Also it would be nice to feed Bush's ear-piece transmission to C-SPAN or some other network, like CBS, so they could play the secret messages in real time as the debate is broadcast to the world.

4. even if this were so

8. Yeah, I have it on my videoclips page
Out of sync

What's really funny is John King's reaction at the end

More stuff on the page in general, including the ever popular Peance Freance
Clips

9. I've never seen that clip of John King!
He looked like he knew full well what had happened and was disgusted by it. I remember the day that happened, but, I don't remember that reaction from King. Funny.

10. Need to set up a scanner during the next debate
Back in the 80's stage magician James Randi caught a fundy "faith healer" named Peter Popoff pulling this trick:

The Dems (or someone close to the campaign) needs to be set up with a pro-grade scanner to check for this. Outsiders may not be able to do it, considering presidential security.

12. Eh - It doesn't help him much...
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 09:32 AM by Junkdrawer
Rove has two choices:

1.) Send him out with an earpiece and have him stammer his way through the debate...

2.) Send him out without an earpiece and watch him freeze like a deer in the headlights...

But it would be sweet to bust him on it.

13. Saw a joke somewhere, I think buzzflash, that if he WAS listening
through an earpiece, the person feeding him the info needs to be FIRED!

14. I guessing it's Condi...
But imagine how annoying it must be to try to listen to the questions, listen to the "helper" and then speak. Especially when you're playing with a half deck of cards to begin with.

15. If he's doing it, busting him would break him
The True Belivers would still back him (Popoff's faithful stuck by him), but everyone who even pretends to think clearly will have the "permission" to realize what a fraud this guy is.
