Would you accept winning the House and Senate as a consolation prize?
I mean, suppose Bush managed to steal his way into another four years, but simultaneously Democrats regained control of the House and Senate...would you be content with that? Wouldn't that pretty much put the reigns on Bush for the next four years? I know for many this is NO consolation...but think about it. Democrats would control all bills that go to the floor and we would effectively stop any radical right-wing legislation from getting through for chimp to scratch his name on! What gains would we truly make, other than the obvious, if Kerry wins but has to contend with Republicans in the House AND Senate?!

3. No need to be content
John Kerry is going to win, and win big. And I think there are going to be a lot of Dems winning in House and Senate races. I hope that the new Democratic majority will work with the new President to bring back sanity to the White House and our credibility to the world.

6. I hope you're right about this
Bush could lose but if they retain control of the House and Senate, then they'll just sit tight until 2008.

5. If I thought * won it fair & square, that's the game. BUT if I thought
* won it by fraudulent means, NO! I would NOT accept any consolation prize! I would protest and yell to whoever would listen. I'm not going to take it lying down.

8. NO! No consolation prizes.
Bush must leave the White House!! He has been in there almost 96 months too long!!! He NEEDS to be in prison for his criminal and treasonous behavior.

10. absolutely not, and here's why...
The President appoints the cabinets and many judges. Bush stealing another election doesn't just screw us for the next 4 years, it could potentially screw us for decades.

The president also apparently appoints other positions, like the guy at the FDA in charge of birth control, etc. Bush's choice is of course a rightwing nutjob who thinks the pill is a form of abortion. Just another idiot who cares more about unborn babies than about the people already on the planet.

Remember who appointed the judges who stole the last election? Do we want a repeat of that during our lifetimes?
