13. That was in the World Weekly news
- I think that was the name - I bought it 7+/- mo's ago. The cover pic was Saddam in a wedding dress and Osama in Trad Muslim apparel. They were looking at each other as giddy as newlyweds. I had it up in my office until someone stole it a few months ago.

Damn, that one piece of paper produced soooo many laughs!!!

4. The best thing about VP McCain
is that the CIA may actually take Bush out then!

I tell Bush/Kerry haters to vote Kerry because McCain can beat him in 2008.

12. As I said in another similar thread War with Iran
yep they can pull it off. Think the Polish - German Border, oh during a very dark night on August 31st, 1939....and a radio station

Old tricks are new, and if they manage to get their war on, the stupid muricams will rally 'round the idiot... even if they know he is ruining their life every day and twice on sunday.

I wish I did not have these thoughts, but with these folks... anything is possoble.

Oh and would never know until the dust settles, oh and for those who say, but we have no troops in theater... Rummy has wanted to play with nukes since 1973... so ye of little faith....this is how you bring your war on

(and don't even go to the consequences... this is truly a nightmare and yes I hope to be very wrong)

Why put a Bush/Cheney sign out anyway? Why not just write "I'm a retarded clown" on your forehead and save yourself a few bucks?

It's just the most sickening of what I can think of - outside of a (faux)terrorist attack that kills hundreds (or more).

19. Assassination Attempt = Sympathy Vote
There was some buildup on cable news, a week or two ago, about a fellow who had gone missing. He was believed to have intentions of trying to kill Bush. I expect him to emerge after they keep quiet about him for a bit. There is some shade of assassination attempt. Perhaps it is just alleged, but if Bush is doing badly enough, maybe they'll actually have him shot to try to let the party ride a wave of pity into another term. After the shooting, leading up to the election, Faux and their ilk will try to paint Kerry supporters and anyone supporting ABB as "just like the sniper/gunman/assassin/terrorist/whatever". If re-elected, the would-be assassin's trial and execution become the new media spectacle for months. If Bush is actually wounded, perhaps he conveniently passes between the election and swearing in. Do they need him any longer? Then we get a President Cheney, who would never be electable, himself. Far-fetched? Sure. Tinfoil hat? Yes. But I predicted the invasion of Iraq in October 2000.... I think of that BBC movie, "To Play the King", when I write this idea. At the end, amidst disastrous scandal, the Prime Minister is assassinated by insiders in order to preserve his legacy or his power base or his reforms. Dang I need to see that again....

22. Airstrike on Iranian nuclear sites
They'll say they've saved us all from nuclear death. I expect they'll even say that the intelligence wouldn't have been available if we weren't occupying Iraq.

I see no down side to it. Kerry himself was even pushing the Iranian nuke angle during the debate, so Bush is safe there.

25. Forget McCain.
I know the rethugs may think otherwise, but he's lost a lot of credibility with a lot of people since the Repug Convention. He coulda been a contender but don't see it happening any longer.
