Radio Left: interview with Iconoclast publisher
Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 05:58 PM by crickets
I switched stations after Guy's show (great job, Guy!) - turns out Radio Left interviewed Leon Smith, the publisher of the Iconoclast, this week. The interview is about to re-air in a few minutes. (It's currently about 6:45pm.) There's a link to the stream at the homepage. "Conversations" reruns all weekend, so if you miss it this time, you may be able to catch it later on in the weekend.

Sorry if this is a dupe of an earlier thread.

ETA: He was introduced as publisher, not editor. Oops! This interview is from Tuesday.

2. On the weekends Radio Left plays everything from the week prior.
I am proud to know them both. They have one heck of a studio, looking out over downtown Dallas.

3. They do a great job
I'm so glad they replay everything over the weekend. I'm usually glued to Air America during the week, and it's nice to switch gears on the weekend and catch up with the interviews on Radio Left. They discuss so many fascinating issues and consistently come up with interviews you won't hear elsewhere. They also do a very good job with follow-up articles and features. I love some of the original music bumpers they play too, especially the ones from Millionaires for Bush.

This was a very interesting interview. Leon Smith sounded like a smart, conscientious fellow.
