I'm worried we're too euphoric right now
We do have reason to be happy for our candidate after such a great performance, but we need to be careful that we don't get overconfident and let our guard down at all. We need to remember we're still considered the underdogs in this race and letting up for a minute could be all the Repugs need to put this one away. For all I know, Rove could be counting on us to get so excited with Kerry's prospects as they appear now, that any October Surprise he has planned completely takes the wind out of our sails.

Inauguration Day is when we can celebrate.

3. I've never known John Kerry to be overconfident
If anything that's more of a Bush problem, and even Bill Clinton had a tendency to sometimes celebrate victories too soon.

4. I totally agree,
Arrogance, gloating, and pride can be folly.
Let us keep our eye on the goal, I humbly submit. Its okay
to feel good, but don't tempt fate. Don't jinx John cause
always remember and never forget, GEORGIE PORGIE'S GOT TO GO.

8. So right, we can't let down
for a moment. This group is worse than the mafia and will stop at nothing. Nothing is too low for them to try. This won't be over even when we have a President Kerry. They won't go down easy and will hound him relentlessly. Investigations will be back in vogue and the media will suddenly decide they were too easy on * and make it up by hounding Kerry's every move. This is going to be a long, long fight.
