In a new edition, Bill Maher welcomes the Dixie Chicks, comedian George Carlin, writer Steve Moore, and correspondent Kitty Kay.

George Carlin... excellent.

And Steve Moore is a major douchebag, but he's so unintentionally funny. When he was on last season, he was trying so hard to be "hip" but the audience kept laughing at him. He's the president of the Club for Growth, who ran the anti-Howard Dean "East Coast Sushi-Eaters" ad.

As usual, there's no mention of who will be on the panel and who's going to be interviewed via satellite.

I LOVE Bill, but he's been really pissing me off the past couple of weeks by taking the media lines on flip-flops & Kerry not fighting enough. (I think he's been fighting fine, but we have a media who never shows it). Hopefully the fine debate last night will chill his criticism...

I don't mind fair criticism, I just think that Bill is using the media talking points instead of the reality.

WHOA!!! I haven't heard them speak since Diane Sawyer tried to make them feel like shit for insulting Bush! This I gots to see! By the way, does anyone know if the theme to Real Time is on cd? I love that theme! Great workout music!

4. I thought Kitty Kay was great.

I thought Kitty Kay was great. She spoke with Steve Moore like she was trying to get a handle on what made this guy tick. It was like, at last, I'm next to one of those fanatical, kamikaze Bush supporters. What will I be able to tell the folks back home? At the program's end, I think Kay decided Moore is just another selfish, nutjob repuke. George Carlin was hilarious as usual. I must get his new book, "When will Jesus bring the pork chops?"
