No, this is, without a credible doubt, the worst performance ever far exceeding in pure dismay the addled performance of Reagan in the first debate with Mondale. Nor does the loyalty to Reagan and the real physical allowances AND the lack of mishandled war crises provide any degree of hope that Bush can survive this. Only the abomination of media abominations is better poised for the GOP this time and they can only jump down the drain with him.

Love that drinking from the empty glass. Now that I remember the look on his face when his dry lips smacked- again- on the drained glass(with other full ones available) he seemed to be thinking "Yeah, I did it again." It was symbolic in many ways, not least of which was the story of lack of water for the invasion troops ill served by the cowardly Halliburton. Man, you could write a book on this alone.
