anybody notice how the White House personnel received prophylaxes treatments for anthrax long before any attack occurred.

Also the convenience to White House plans to have the Patriot Act passed without opposition by having anthrax mailed to potential political opponents.

Imagine how hard it would be to mount an effective campaign against the Acts clearly unconstitutional intentions if your office was sealed by decontamination personnel. It would be impossible to take effective action in preventing the passing of the Patriot Act.

I am sorry, but there are just to many 'coincidental' things that happened around 911 to have me think any other way but this administration orchestrated 911 and the anthrax attacks to implement a plan to subvert our constitution and turn our government into a police state with them as the dictators.

I wonder about the Republican party these days. Look at their candidate - a failed businessman with a horrible past including drug abuse, alcoholism, going AWOL, and veteran-smearing. A man who took a month-long vacation only a few months after being in office and did nothing to stop 9/11 despite clear warnings, turned a huge surplus into a deficit, turned most of the world against us, lost countless jobs and wants to outsource even more, has presided over several scandals...oh, I could just go on and on.

This sort of thing is the reason I switched from Independent to Democrat. There was a time I respected the Republican party but as far as I'm concerned, anyone who votes for Bush is a pathetic fool, especially after last night.

16. I have always been a democrat, but up until the last decade or so...

I had some modicum of respect for republican leaders, even if I disagreed with them on policy, I thought they pursued their policy objectives competently and with a level of internal integrity.

I would not now describe any national republican politician in the same way. I can only hope the paleocons will oust or split from the neocons.
