DEAN : Buy some shirts that fit!!!
I know he's probably pumped up - but really - he popping out those shirt collars...

You're on TV a lot now - all we see is your head.

He looks like some middle aged teacher who hasn't bought a new shirt since college...not that thats a bad thing... ;)

54. I thought he was a bit nervous and stiff on Larry King
But that probably came from being beat up over the MTP interview (and why the heck doesn't anyone remember that was the weekend he was dealing with his son getting in to stupid trouble?)

But he was loosening up as the interview went along. This guy to me is very human. He does remind me of GP doctors I know. Hell I wouldn't mind him as my doctor. But I'd love to see him working on curing our country of the sickness Whistle-Ass and his cronies are going to leave behind.

I think Dean is dynamic on stage - reminds me of a good preacher. This guy has soul.

And btw I think Al Gore is not too bad in front of an engaged audience. In front of crowds I think Gore ran a good campaign. Now they did make some other mistakes for instance the first 2 debates.

Edited on Thu Aug-28-03 06:03 PM by UnapologeticLiberal
I get nervous now everytime he is on one of those shows and I am just a supporter, so who can blame him? But after he loosened up I thought it was a good appearance.

Edited on Thu Aug-28-03 04:03 PM by enki23
self esteem is a funny thing. having it, when you don't merit it, is a bad thing, sometimes for yourself but *always* for those around you. not having it when you do merit it can also be a bad thing, for obvious reasons.

anyway. lacking self esteem doesn't make you a bully. it makes you their target.

as for the post you're replying to, though, i agree. it's mean spirited and extremely low in information.

when you keep a schedual like that, you grab food when you can, and you go for the sugar.

And frankly I'd rather have a guy who was working so hard that he'd not had time to go out and get some new shirts, than some style driven camera monkey.

I don't give a damn what he wears really, but I think he should be comfortable-he's working really hard for us. I would be happy to send him a cool tie as a congratulations gift.

What member of this board did I direct my post to? It's probably easy to get 1000+ posts if you post 3 substance-less, unrelated rants about every post you dont understand...

You obviously have NO sense of humor...did you read the last line of my post? "not that theres anything wrong with that..." And then the little smiley thing...?

I didn't call him a "stupid fat head"...that's a bash. I just pointed out that his shirts seem a bit tight...WTF?

He getting on TV again - seems like the whole DEM 2004 thing took a back seat to the Cali-recall topic in the media...now he's getting time again...and the media tends to focus on the head...

Again, it may really contribute to, as anoter poster put it, "his homespun goofy-ness" - but I guess you'd consider that a "BASH" too?
