Is Edwards Kerry's secret weapon?
I can't be the only person notices that Edwards hardly makes the news at all. The last thing I remember hearing from him on TV was after Cheney's "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!" speech, and that was weeks ago.

Is the campaign asking him to keep a low profile until he debates Cheney? Kerry will have to gain a few points when people see Cheney and Edwards on the same stage. Are they hoping that the huge distinction between Edwards and Cheney will work wonders by itself? I doubt any undecided voter could watch that debate and pick the mean grandfather over the cool uncle.

2. Goodboy
I could not agree more. From the moment I saw them together I was completely on board with this ticket. It was a great choice, and we are about to learn just how great.

6. That's right, and if you look at how the Repukes had a nasty response
planned out on their website before Kerry made the announcement. They're scared..,.and they should be, because even people who 'support' Cheney, don't like him. The country will fall in love with Edwards, and in doing so, Kerry himself.

3. I'm going to see Edwards tomorrow .....
It will be a "town hall meeting" held in the Dayton, Ohio area. I don't have too much information about it. I'm just guessing here, but I believe it may be to energize the volunteer/activist base....Not like we need it or anything, but it re-affirms our goals....kind of like the half-time locker room pep-talk....Everyone going needs VIP tickets....and was a very active in the campaign activities.

I'll let folks know how it went.....

5. Neither is Dick Cheney, but he gets tons of press.
Granted, he is Vice President, but if his campaign speeches make the news why doesn't Edwards?

7. I do hope that Edwards will show us why he was successful as
a litigator when he goes up against Cheney in the debate. I love John Edwards, but the nice guy approach won't wash.
