Any word on the "Marsh Arabs?"

Prior to the invasion, we heard so much about the Marsh Arabs and how Saddam had drained the marshes and all but wiped out their way of life. Bush #41 left them and the Kurds out to dry after the Gulf War. Have the Marsh Arabs begun resoring the marshes? Has the water started flowing south? Just curious?

right after the invasion, around the same time Bob Arnot was walking around Baghdad showing us how great things were, the Marsh Arabs were pointed to as one of the great successes.

2. Water, no, but bullets have

the British fired off 100,000 bullets at them in August alone in the fiercest fighting they'd been a part of since the Korean War. Jaysh al-Mahdi & Iraqi Hizbu`ullah are very strong there and are still resisting the occupyers.
