The Plan.
Ok, I thought I would start this thread because I was sitting here thinking about a what a great film it would make if the CIA had a plan to undermine the president so that he could not be re-_S_elected in 04.

What if, all of the actions the president has taken to undermine the CIA finally got to them and they decided to remove him?

How would they do it?

Immediately what comes to mind is trap the pResident in some sort of scandal (Plame leak case), something that would force him to lose the election in a landslide of backlash. Perhaps force him to resign in shame. Wouldn't this be easy? Of course, this assumes that the media is not a complete shill for the GOP.

So knowing these things, pondering all that's happened, what can WE do to make it happen. If it seems likely that Bush has tricked the American people into voting for him or if they steal the election again, what other measures do we have to remove the current administration?

Civil Disobedience? Protest? Boycott? I'm all for non-violence but I want _a plan_, a good one that will have everyone gasping in disbelief and rushing to the voting booth for John Kerry.

The Proposal and the Question:
A plan to take back the white house outside of conventional means that is not violent.

How can this be done? Can it be done at all?

Should I be worried about posting this? I mean Karl Rove will do _anything_ to make his man president, so why shouldn't we follow his example if its been working for him.

2. But I want something more subtle, under the GOP radar.
I want a trap. A trap that can't be detected, that these idiots fall into by their own arrogance that they cannot escape from.

Nixon defeated himself but only because there were still some men in our government with principles to break party lines and stand up for what was right.

Since there is no one left in the GOP with principles or the will to uphold the constitution, we must rely on a new way of defeating them with their own game.

The problem is that I'm not sure I'm creative enough to come up with it, but I'm working on it. The outing of the CIA operative (Plame Leak case) is perfect but nothing is happening on it. That is a treasonable offense that goes right to the top in the white house. We need something like that, something that gets blown wide open.

I once heard of a story that I think Larry Flynt was following about a young Bush Jr. paying someone to keep an aborted pregnancy he caused under wraps in the early 70's. That's also something that would topple his base and assure a Kerry victory but I think whoever it was that was following it ran into a dead end with the people who worked with Bush Jr. to cover it up.

3. His base
is all too forgiving of B*sh's past. As you may know many in the born again crowd are themselves recovering from alcohol or drugs. Things from his distant past will not bring him down. I had thought that Tenet's retirement meant that the CIA did plan on taking him down. As Tenet could not testify against the administration as a member of it. Unfortunately, that has not come to fruition. They are very good at covering their tracks. Bush is an arrogant asshole. I can not believe for a minute that he has remained faithful to his wife all these years. It simply doesn't fit with his character. That is where the investigation should focus. Infidelity after Clinton would shatter the high moral road myth. Somewhere out there someone knows something about his indiscretions.

4. Its an idea but guess who are in the....
way, the frigging MEDIA circus that's who you will have to deal with. No matter what plan you or us at DU come up with those Pancho's are on the paying list for Rove, as a matter of fact he might even have Rovers here amongst us.

What ever plan it is, it must be a clandestine one. that's my opinion.

6. Simple.
They should be in contact with every Secretary of State across the country making sure that every effort is being made to conduct fair and honest elections.
