The National Council of Churches also has a section on their website devoted to what the war is costing the United States.

So, we've spent billions of dollars, wasted thousands and thousands of lives, turned the traditional site of the garden of Eden into a microcosm of the war of all against all, and we're not safer, in greater danger than ever, and people are trying to tell me with a straight face that we must re-elect George W. Bush.

I almost lost it. If I were in the same room I would have thrown something at the telly.

This idiot called in to CSpan and said that he is creeped out by Kerry because he is always serious.

He'd like to see Kerry smile at least once, and make a self deprecating comment about himself.

Until then, he can't even bear to look at Kerry on tv.
