Are you voting Absentee or In Person?
Is it less likely my vote won't be counted if I vote absentee or in person? My Mom and I can't decide. Our votes probably won't be counted either way, but we'll take the better of two choices. How are you voting?

4. In person.
I don't trust absentee any more than I trust in person.

So sad.

permanent absent voter. I am in CA and we have lots of propositions to decide. I like my kitchen table, partner and I study the issues together.

7. Absentee

I took my mom to vote in the CA Recall.
She is in her 80's.
She had a very hard time following the columns and punching in her choices. And, my mom is doing well for her age.

In the Nov. 2nd election I will not subject her to the crowds or the process.

It is also taking time away from people who must vote and get back to work etc.

I also heard that there are not as many polling places as before. That makes it even worse.

9. In person. I'm whispering to the machine, Even if you have been programme
for evil, I know you don't want to do that, so please just record the votes correctly.

Besides, i wanna see the turnout for myself

12. I don't trust the mail. Do know how many letters of mine have been
delayed or lost in the mail. No way. I am handing my ballot in at the voting booth. They even let you put it into the optical scanner yourself. I feel like it is safer that way instead it going through so many hands in the postal service.

16. In person.
We've got paper ballots (read by scanner, but kept for hand recount, so no BBV) in WI. I kind of like the idea of showing up on Election Day and getting the little "I voted" sticker and arguing with the old ladies (once out of maybe 7 times I've voted at this address), that really, the man who voted earlier from this address wasn't me. (One of the two poll workers in charge of verifying voters has marked my husband, who generally votes earlier in the day, as me. At least once I know of. I was eventually allowed to cast my ballot.)

19. Which should I?
I'm registered at my mother's address, which is so out in the sticks, they don't have polling places and must vote absentee. I'm thinking of re-registering at my new place. I probably should, anyway, but I'm not sure what kind of polling equipment will be available to me, if any. I may still be a "sticks" person who must vote absentee.

20. Probably Absentee
but I'm hoping to do early voting instead if I'm allowed to. I'm a permanent absentee voter so I'm not sure. On election day, I'll be too busy getting everyone else out to the polls.
