3. Heh, a dig against CNN

They had "breaking news" that Ronald Reagan was (still) dead, as they lingered on a shot of his grave. They had a news ticker that said things like "President Clinton a bleeding-heart liberal: Doctor" and "John Kerry not a war hero" and other things I didn't catch quickly enough.

Ah, this CNN thing is a running gag tonigt... on the ticker now:
"President Bush somehow works '911' into sandwich order at restaurant"
"John Ashcroft sees own genitals in washroom, orders them covered"

4. Yipes! A dig on the Swift boat ads!

(The text "September 11th" keeps appearing on the screen)

"On September 11th, where was John Kerry?"
John Kerry wasn't president on Sept. 11, so we'll never know what he thinks of Sept. 11.

"During Vietnam, President Bush stayed at home and served his country. John Kerry went on a boat with his liberal friends."

"While John Kerry travels around the world, President Bush stays at home. I respect that."

"I'm George W. Bush, and I approve this message."

5. OMG! Kitten-eaters!

Another swift boat ad:

"I'm not saying that John Kerry eats kittens, but I'm not saying he doesn't either. I don't know for sure that he hasn't, and that scares me."
