CNN made a mistake
After Kerry's speech they had a pug chairman essentially saying you don't know where Kerry stands, just taking ideas from bush, blah, blah, blah...

Then they had Peter Bergen on. One of the few western journalist to have met with omsama bin laden, and a authority on al queada, and he systematically illustrated the major differences between bush and Kerry. Boy did Bergen's comments blow away what the bush administration HAS NOT DONE, and what Kerry WILL do

4. Here are some of the things
Bergen pointed out that Kerry said the following:

Kerry would setup a conference with all the Arab/Muslim leaders.
Kerry would push for a Palestinian state
Kerry would implement cargo coming into the ports were safe

I recommend you go to the Kerry site, and read a transcript

2. Again: after Bush speaks, GOP guest. After Kerry speaks, GOP guest.
It's stunning. Absolutely stunning.

After Bush's disastrous press conference with Allawi yesterday, did CNN have a Democrat analyze the event? No. They invited a Republican to do damage control.

I give the fuck up with CNN.

3. Bergen is one of the few CNN reporters who GETS IT
him being a foreigner may have something to do with it since i have noticed that most of the good reporters tend to be foreigners.

7. Don't forget Walter Rodgers
He is an American CNN reporter who has become openly astonished at inane comments made by other CNN commentators, Blitzer as an example, during interviews. He also gets it. And then we can never forget Christiane Amanpour... the true bright spot on CNN

9. I think Peter Bergen is terrific
and I think he's cute in a sort of absent-minded professor way.

10. The thug was Ken Mehlman-the source of misinformation-
and he was totally predictable, same old yap yap about Kerry's fuzzy positions, etc, ad nauseum. Good thing my shoes were in the other room...

Good thing Mehlman's mouth is so big, since he has to pass so much shit in both directions.
