I work customer service in a call center for a home improvement store. Nice man calls up and asks to be transfered to the advertising department. Apparently this is something "about Dan Rather". I'm assuming he saw a commercial during CBS news and is calling to lodge a complaint, so I'm curious if they have a "call and pester" wave going out.

Luckily I didn't have to deal with them, other than transferring to the people who deal with complaints.

On the upside, I donated $10 to the Democratic party. Not a whole lot, but hey...

1. Today - I Parked My Car Specifically To Force A Freeper To See

My Kerry/Edwards sticker before they could enter their car adorned with a *04 sticker.

Annoying Freepers is a full time job. But hey, somebody has to do it!

6. I do that every day!

Our subdivision is condos and we located on a horseshoe drive. Our parking spaces are in the back between the buildings for the units. The guy right across from me (just moved in a couple of months ago) drives a jeep that started sporting a B/C '04 on the windshield. :puke:

I finally gave up on my local office sending me the three I requested and went ahead and ordered 10 from the Kerrygear site. Just for good measure, I put one on the front windshield AND the back so he'll see it whether I'm coming or going! :evilgrin:

It's been quiet around here so far, but we can't have any signs or anything up. Condo regs. :eyes:

If your company is getting calls threatening boycott for advertising support with CBS, perhaps we should show our support and let them know it. :)

and I seriously doubt they'd pull advertising from one of the big three networks.

8. I don't think that would be great

I'd like to see Lowe's beat them out competitively, but I don't necessarily want to see a whole lot of people lose their jobs because of the owners politics. Lou Dobbs had something on last night that they are starting a campaign to actively hire military men and women...a support the troops thing. Frankly, I think it's marketing strategy for the almighty dollar more than company goodwill.
