Central Fla.'s Channel 13's bogus I-4 Corridor Poll. Unbelievable.
Channel 13 in Central Florida is spending a great deal of newstime pushing an unworthy news special called the I-4 Corridor poll. They literally concentrate on counties which are along the I-4 Corridor and FORGET ABOUT THE REST OF THE STATE! These are counties which include a number which are mostly Republican. Some to the tune of 50% Republicans to 35% Democrats, and oddly, the voter breakdown is the same. Today they reported with broad smiles that President Bush is ahead of Kerry. The breakdown was near the following:
Bush 51% Kerry 38% Nadar 2% Undecided 9%
They said they're going to continue this special I-4 Corridor Poll up to the election. Bright House is working with (if memory serves) the George Washington University Center. Does anybody know about Channel 13's and the other two organizations' party affiliation?
I haven't been called by anyone and I'm in an I-4 Corridor County. And why is Bright House involved? Gee, a cable business. What private information could they possibly get access to?
not the Tampa Fox station. I saw some of the Corridor stuff on one of the TVs at work (I work in Bushnell, which picks up the Orlando stations). The Tampa station isn't affiliated with the Orlando one.
..will be waged in Miami/Dade county. As long as there is a solid turnout among blacks and non-Cuban Latinos over there, Kerry should do well in Florida.
