Of course he's not drunk, but that hasn't stopped him from suggesting, every other sentence, that all Democrats are either 1) under the influence of alcohol, 2) mentally unstable, or 3) fully insane. I think he's mentioned it five or six times now.

This is the "Kerry's wildeyed!" meme in hyperdrive. They even showed a clip of a democratic spokesman on an earlier Crossfire cracking a joke ("It's far more likely those documents came from Karl Rove than from the DNC.") followed immediately by Tucker flipping out and accusing Dems of being clinically insane.

They don't even try to connect the logic anymore. I'm expecting to read something about Hannity claiming "John Kerry was seen eating some potato chips. That's clearly the mark of a madman." on MediaMatters later this evening. I think we're going to hear a lot of this in the next week.

I want to preemptively apologize for the original thread title. I know I hate it when people post something with a juicy subject, I click on it with anticipation, and get disappointed by somebody stating both the obvious and something contradictory to the subject. Sorry.

believe it or not, during the Republican primaries in North Carolina in 2000, when it turned ugly against McCain (talk about your flip-flops, now he praises that buffoon). It really just shows that the milquetoast tucker is limited in his critical writing skills. Just call them "crazy" and that will suffice as robust analysis of a person's policies.

Lou Dobbs still has some strong stuff, along with Aaron Brown on occasion, but... CNN deserves to finish it's crash and burnout into utter parody of Faux propaganda...
