The obvious dividing line between those who support the bushgang
and those who don't.

Pundits and posters marvel at the near-even split of rabid support for the bushgang and rabid opposition to the bushgang. The country seems profoundly and evenly divided.

Through painstaking research, I have discovered the specific dividing line that separates bushgang supporters and the rest of us. It splits the country right down the middle. Everyone below this line supports the bushgang despite abundant glaring evidence that their support is contrary to the supporters' own self interest. Despite clear evidence of crimes, including treason, half of the American people--the half below this dividing line--insist that they believe we are better off with the gang that has destroyed millions of jobs, eliminated health care for millions more, killed tens of thousands of people in a phony, unnecessary "war," and created the worst budget deficits in world history. Why can't they see what is so obvious to the other half of us?

Friends, that dividing line is unmistakably the 100 IQ line.

3. Someone did a study
that showed the states average I.Q. and the bottom half (those with the lowest I.Q.) were almost exclusively red states.

6. Most of the blue states have better school systems
CT and MA, for example.

10. Yes,
but isn't I.Q. a test of the brains ability, and not about knowledge?

11. I guess
but having access to special education classes and decent teachers could at least help the lower IQ folks among us.

4. I think there's truth to that, but consider that some very bright people
are on the "dark side." They are the ones with a piece of this, with something to sell or some stake in the Empire. Any other reason to support Bush, of course, would be due to less-than-three-digits.

8. yup.
the conmen at the top may be bright.

there are a few delusional ideologues, who may technically have a three-digit IQ.

there is a very small percentage who actually do benefit from the bushgang's crimes and who may or may not be intelligent.

the masses of supporters are clearly stupid. Stupid, below-average moronic idiots.

Now think that half the country falls below this gradient.

12. This brings up the most important
aspect of why we must defeat *. This is a referendum on paranoia, homophobia, jingoism, racism, and non-Christians. If he wins, these base characteristics in lower humans will be legitimized.

15. this is a battle between the enlightened forces of civilization,
rationality and progress (us)

and those who would shove us back into the feudalistic dark ages of the past (neocons).

I truly believe that. Unfortunately, too many Murkans are stupid enough to willingly support those who are destroying their way of life.

13. There's another dividing line here, too....
"IQ" is not the only way to be smart. There's also "EQ" (Emotional Quotient?), which measures how well one deals with life's problems, gets along with others, is willing to look at differing views, and so on, as I understand it. If you consider this measure in examining the Bushbots and the progressives, I think the result is borne out the same as with IQ.

14. You're right about EQ
The latest New Yorker has a very enlightening article called "Bush Speak" and after reading it I had a better understanding of Bush's "brain" and his ability to connect with audiences. I hope the Kerry people read this....it might help them understand Bush's "appeal".
