Having Fun Reading Kitty Kelley
Got around to starting "The Family" last night before bed...was tired, but still read the intro and first two chapters...

HOOOBOY!!!

A great-grandfather who believed in racial segregation and eugenics, and who died before his relatives could finish having him declared insane...

A grandfather who thinks partipating in the desecration of Native American graves as a Skull and Bones prank is a noble thing and who may have had something to do with circulating a ridiculous fairy tale of his supposed WWI-era heroism to his hometown and college newspapers as if it were the truth...

What's in store the deeper you get in the book? Muuuuuhahahahaha!!!!

I know what I'll be reading this weekend!

These people have been racist and elitist from day one!

GW acts just like his grandpa.

They are all a bunch h of lying dirty crooks with NO family values.

I am still stuck on the fact that Barb didn't go to her mother's funeral and played golf the day after her own daughter died.

2. Uh, Mr. pResident, just one question...
This book is no doubt a little heavier reading than "My Pet Goat" or "The Hungry Caterpillar".

You really think you can handle it?

5. And just one questions fer you...
…did y’all sign yer loyalty oath afore asking me that? I mean, wouldn’t you rather ask, “Thank you fer answering the call of Jesus H. Christ by protectoring us all”?

As it stands, I think you should know that it wasn’t me who started this thread. It was done by the young speech writering feller who’s been helping me with my posts here on DU.

This young man used my account in an unauthorized attempt to fraternize with y’all, apparenthetically. Rest assured he will surveillanced from now on and this breech of Merka’s security will not be repeated unless he lets his hair down and breaks character, again.

Thanks to you and the others here who drew this young man’s chicanigans to my attention, we can all do our part to go the extra mile and keep our nation both safe and sorry.

Dubya

P.S. Readin’s fer women and sissies.

6. I 'preciate it, little lady...
...especially since, budgetarily, what y’all say makes sound fecal sense--it’d be awfully wasteful to have my boogers lyin’ around when you realize they have an estimated street value of about $8,000 a key.

7. Do y'all really think...
...I’d have an unconsumed stash still lyin’ around from the early 90s? Why would I save flake that long? Does it accumulate interest, or something?

Heyyyyyyyyyy, wait a minute…
