I'm an east coaster; been threw a few. I wonder if it has ever occured to them that every year there is a huricane season and it is hyped up like hell every time there is one?

Now, I live in Ga. so don't everybody think I'm picking on all the people from here! There really are a lot of goofballs here. A few examples:

A friend who lives very close to the Ga/Fl border told me he was securing his storage shed to the ground RIGHT BEFORE the hurricane was going to hit. When I asked why he hadn't done this before because he's had the shed for 3 years, he said he just hadn't gotten around to it.

Just before the hurricane, many people hurried out to buy a generator...and then complained that they thought the stores had increased their prices just because of demand.



Maybe they did need CNN to broadcast the hurricane stuff 24/7...they aparently didn't know the danger before that!
