Condi Pulls the string..
and the Chimp talks:

"I gave a speech to the nation that was cleared by the intelligence services." - Chimpy in Africa today

They are finally realizing that their lies are catching up with them.

Hopefully this strategy won't deter the still sadly uninformed press.

1. A Real Shocker!
We could all see the deniability coming from thousands of miles away. Tenet is not Bush's guy at Langley. He wasn't even on board with the administration until he suddenly went from skeptical to slavering support, a turn of events that was suspicious to say the least. Since he was never one of the Bush insiders, he was vulnerable for some in-house regime change from Day 1.

Now the other banana peel drops: The CIA vetted the Niger uranium story. Well if that isn't a shocker I don't know what is. And in other news the sun supposedly will rise tomorrow morning and researchers claim grass is green when it is alive. This is a hand-washing of emmaculate magnitude.

The only thing that will blow this story up to the proportions of whoring that I think it contains will be for the CIA in particular and National Intelligence Community in general to say "enough is enough" at being scapegoated by a White House who didn't want to hear what they had to say to begin with and now wants to dump on them. Will they? The jury is out on that one.

2. I like the ball tossing - a commander the does not accept responsibility
Now we have:

"forged documents initially obtained by European intelligence agencies." ..... from who?????

"and quoted by the Brits in Sept 2002" - why did the Brits verbalize - did we ask for Brit support - provide them with the documents - and our analysis?

"told by CIA that it would be a lie to say that we believed that Iraq was chasing Atomic fuel based on the info we had - because we knew the info was forged" who forged it?????????

but "CIA signed off" of on saying "Brits are saying Iraq chasing atomic fuel" because we have that Sept 2002 statement by the Brits

and off we go to kill 6000 Iraqi cilivans and with now approaching 300 of our own "coalition" military (some even in "combat")dead.

And straight shooter, truth teller Bush did not lie because we just know he would not lie - does not fit Rove storyline the media has been selling for 3 years. Must have been Gore that lied. And Clinton forged those documents - and somehow Hillary ordered us to war -

Ya that's it - Hillary - we need an investigation of Hillary - we know that those 1 million plus books sold in 4 weeks were union purchased in Europe - not real people - and not even a million because we can count too! - or is that two? No matter - investigate Hillary!!!!!

:-)

8. Revisionist history
Chimp:

June 17, 2003:

"Now there are some who would like to rewrite history— revisionist historians is what I like to call them."

Condi:

June 13, 2003:

"Now we will see how long it takes us to interview people and to put together the full picture, but it is simply revisionist history to say that people were somehow making this threat more than it was..."
