together at Peggy Barclay's Tavern in Sugarhouse Entry, off High St. Belfast, on April 1st 1791. I believe my great greatgrandfather may have been. The Society of United Irishmen was formed then to restore and preserve the liberty of all Irish. Any McCabes out there? They were all very encouraged by the American Revolution and thought for sure the French would come to their aid also. Well that didn't happen and my greatgrandmother Bridget Harper came to American as an orphan at 14. How can I not carry on the loathing of Tyranny.

is because of all that went down before the war, i don't rember how i stumbled in here, i think it was the late breaking news. anyway, ever since i have been using this place for information. It is a shame it took the Bush administration to make me become more politically aware.

Loving every minute. It gives me hope, resources, links, talking points, rants, vents, and many a heads-up on the news.
