Seymour Hersh's new book out
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 08:30 AM by Qst4Q
Chain of Command
The Road from 9/11 to Abu Ghraib

Obviously I haven't finished it yet, but if I may be so bold:

RUN -DON'T WALK- TO YOUR NEAREST BOOK STORE AND BUY IT

You want to see history being made? Read this book... it's the downfall of this Fascist Regime that stole the White House. IMHO

Also considering the slight treatment I've seen him (SH) receive on the polital talk show circus all sales would help to get the story out. Buy it and read it and pass it on to someone else... spread this story until it can't be marginalized anymore

* I posted this very late last night EST and thought it could bare repeating

:smoke:

2. Amy Goodman had him on this morning.
I was listening to Democracy Now on the way in to work this morning and as always with his interviews, I was completely riveted. Have to get this book.

His story on Operation Anaconda is chilling. I don't know if he included it in the book, I think he did say it was a story, one of several, that he chose not to put in the New Yorker, one of which he said Wes Clark gave him a raft of crap for not publishing. Wes Clark apparently told him 'it's your job."

He is something else. But, he said if he was a betting man, Bush will win in November. That was a downer, but hey, it was just his opinion on the matter.

3. He is one of the best investigative journalists ever.
I've followed his career since the early 70's and have more respect for him than any other reporter. He thinks this is his best work yet - I can't wait to read it. You can go and watch all of his interviews in the archives on Democracy Now in cased you missed any.

I haven't been able to find his book touring schedule - would love to finally meet him. If anybody has that info, please post.

Cheers to Sy Hersh!

4. Don ANUS Said He Refused to Have HERSH on His Circus
That despite being told he would not be put on the air, HERSH called-in anyway (and was not put on the air).
