1. I did not feel like registering for the LATimes site,
but I have been watching Putin. He is a wily one and potentially dangerous. Who knows what he discussed with Kim Jong-Il of NK during that meeting they seemed to get along famously for. Also, his selective enforcement of the law to punish Mikhail Khodorkovsky of Yukos Inc just because Khodorkovsky made contributions to campaigns that were against Putin's interest are troublesome to say the least. Putin, of course, after the Beslan disaster is probably going to warm up to b*sh very significantly too.....yuck. Russia has a state controlled media too, which is no good......
