1. He's talking about the General Gordon??? report to Condi
that was ignored. Rumsfeld said he would "take care of it" and the report disappeared. Abu Ghraib reports surfaced in August 2002 It was an open door policy for Abu Ghraib abuse. No one took steps to stop it. It goes right to the top of command. He stopped short of accusing bush. Condi and Rummy knew what was going on.

8. Well if he stopped short of saying they knew what was going on don't
expect any fruits from this tree.

10. I differ.
I think the prison abuse scandal has a lot to do with the right-track / wrong-track figures and the fact that Bush couldn't get any traction this spring. It took the not-so-Swift smear for him to get traction.

12. No people were not seeing the promised economic boom, The dems
esp Dean were talking straight for a change. This is what took Bush's numbers down. Nothing was really happening for him

11. I disagree
that it's not going anywhere. I'll concede that it may not impact the elections, but it is going somewhere... with any luck to warcrimes trials in a world court.

13. In your dreams- sorry but they have got themselves out of that one.
throug legislation here in the US. Do you seriously believe Bush will be tried for war crimes when Kissinger is still walking around.
