Kitty Kelly has never lost a lawsuit
"Kitty Kelly has never lost a lawsuit on any of her books." MSNBC scroll just now stated.

3. Biography Section
And why would it be under fiction? Just talked to my local book dealer.

2. I think she uses the old RW tried and true favorite
"Some people say", then moves forward with whatever she wants to say.

4. So Kelly is FOX news now?

She may be wrong on a few facts but she is often on target.

5. I think you should READ one of her books
before making such speculation.

she has NEVER been successfully sued and took on Nancy Reagan, Frank Sinatra and the British Royals... hardly lightweight targets.

the publisher is not a smear merchant like Regnery, they have thoroughly vetted the book and expect to be attacked.

9. I read her book on Sinatra
and I found her long on innuendo and insinuation and short on facts. I also found an astonishing lack of simple declarative sentences. I think that sort of thing has made her lawsuit proof.

In this book, she does have a source who was willing to go on record (and presumably on tape), even though that source is getting cold feet now.

It will be interesting to see what bits of this book get into the mainstream, and what sort of an effect it has on the people who aren't already blinkered, pig-ignorant Bush cultists.

7. I Thought She Had NEVER Been Sued
although some THREATENED to sue, they thought better of it after considering that all the tawdry tidbits she had revealed would be dragged through the court system - along with attendant media attention focused on said tawdry tidbits.

10. Does she have the ShrubCo bunch in a catch 22?
Sue and have the stuff in the books out in broad day light? OR: Not sue and let the information spread in its own natural course, hoping the lapdog media will ignore it in favor of more KerryBashing? If the media is going to make more money off the sensation the book causes than it would otherwise, what is in the book may not be so easily brushed aside in the media.
