Solve the CNN problem NOW. Do this
Contact your cable company and request CNN be removed from the lineup. Copy your letter to CNN brass.

Jim Walton is president I assume his email is jim.walton@turner.com. Any others?

3. Yes, lumping them with Fox
will get the message across better, it says we know who you are imitating.

2. Why won't CBS come up with a 24/7 News channel? If there is a demand
then fill that demand, don't just let the repugs have the market. Same thing with talk radio, if people want to listen to hotheads that lie out of their asses, then offer the market the other side, don't just turn away from the market or complain. This is marketing folks? Pepsi didn't let Coke take the entire market, Nike fought Reebok for years, so come on, let's get going. Air America should be heard in every market at the same time the rethugs are heard. It makes sense and it means profits.

6. Yeah, why doesn't CBS have a news channel?
They've tried other strange concepts, such as the "Eye On People" channel, which landed with a thud. Or "Spike TV", which is built around a few hours of wrestling every week.

Here are the cable stations they own:

MTV
MTV2
Nickelodeon
BET
Nick at Nite
TV Land
NOGGIN
VH1
Spike TV
CMT
Comedy Central
Showtime
The Movie Channel
Flix
Sundance Channel

Not much they can really blow up, since most of these stations do fairly well, but let's face it - Spike TV (formerly TNN) is wasted space. How about blowing it up and creating a news channel? If they want to fill space on the weekends, they've got 35 years of 60 Minutes reels sitting in storage. I wouldn't mind seeing that.

Perhaps if Gore doesn't do anything with NWI, CBS could move in. They already provide news reports to them.

9. And if they were to do so..
could you imagine them playing the Daily Show several times a week?

That would possibly mean that we get to see much more of Jon Stewart! :loveya: Ahhh!

7. Yes, NO competition makes
our cable providers suck pond water.

Gee, I remember when we had fewer channels and much greater diversity in programming : ( .

8. Useless...
Your request will reach at best, a few thousand people here. Your not going to get a successful boycot on CNN going.

O'Riely tried it against various things and he has a MUCH bigger audience then you.

Boycotts hardly ever work.
