Posted in GD04 as well, but I think this is really important and revealing.
Where there's smoke, there's fire. In cases like the Killian memos controversy, where you have a few vocal folks claiming that the memos are "fake" despite a preponderance of unimpeachable evidence that suggests otherwise, it's always fun to follow the money trail and see if these people (and their associates) are really as "unbiased" as they claim. So, with the help of www.opensecrets.org, www.intelius.com and www.ussearch.com, I did a little bit of digging on these colorful characters, and the results are interesting. Assumed close relatives are included.

Col Maurice Udell, TxANG (Ret.)"I completely am disgusted with this (report) I saw on '60 Minutes,'" Udell said. "That's not true. I was there. I knew Jerry Killian. I went to Vietnam with Jerry Killian in 1968."

real gem is this:
"John Kerry will destroy this country with his socialist views...John Kerry is as much a threat to the United States as Usama Bin Laden. He would sell his mothers gold for the power, and he has already communicated to Iran, France, Belgium and Germany that he will join hands with these cowards and walk away from this war on terror.
A vote for John Kerry is a vote for socialism and for the "French Candidate"

Amy Barnes Stites, daughter of Ben Barnes"On Thursday, Mr. Barnes' daughter, Amy Barnes Stites, called WBAP, a Texas news talk radio station, to say her father had told her a different story in 2000. 'I love my father very much, but he's doing this for purely political reasons,' Mrs. Stites said. 'He is a big Kerry fund-raiser and he is writing a book also.'"
