how are the "Clinton Lies" vs. "Bush Lies" people doing?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
CLINTON'S
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Bill: Richer than ever, high speaking fees...enjoying reflective glow of wife's success...engaged in numerous endeavors for public policy

Monica: book deal, weight loss deal, hosted stupid show, making silk purses out of a sow's rear, etc. etc.

Hillary: US Senator, record setting book sales, toast of NY, most powerful woman in DEM party

Ken Starr: Rich bastard in private lobbying group, teaching, etc

Newt Gingrich: selling novel, annoying state dept, walking crabwise to get to heart of GOP influence again.

Clinton's Staff: Blumenthal....popular book, Stephanapoulus....hit TV show....others on to lucrative careers, etc.

------------------------------------------------------------------
BUSH'S
------------------------------------------------------------------

Over 200 young American men and women have died in service to this lie and there is no end in sight. As we count the days....so we count the fresh deaths.

A little over 40 British soldiers have died in combat since the war started in Iraq.

Several thousand Iraqi civilians not to mention countless thousands of Iraqi military personnel have been wiped from the face of the earth because Bush and his henchmen lied and continue to lie to the world about reasons for war. That death toll which we will never fully know also continues to rise.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Who's lies were worse? Judge the evidence for yourselves

2. Newt is tryin g to get back on top.
I guess he liked his days in the sun. It is fun to read how he did it the first time. He saw c-span as a way up and did it very well. He really took down the other Speakers.

7. exactly. but for the many idjits who love to bring it up....
I just point out contrasting results.

And of course I only focused on the unredeemable loss of life. We could also add into the equation the terrible injuries that have gone largely unreported especially the ones on the Iraqi side....the tremendous property damage in Iraq including the looting afterward, and the astronomical cost of all those fancy flying things, MRE's bunker busters, etc.

Even if someone chooses to lay cost of independent council's investigation at Clinton's feet (stupid premise, really) it pales in comparison to the lies that allowed us to get into this ongoing war.

4. Wounded?!?
I finally saw a number for wounded since the invasion began of a little over 1000 troops. That does not even take into account the Iraqi wounded. Maybe tens of thousands for those poor souls.
