What is Shrub going to do about North Korea?
Edited on Sun Sep-12-04 01:24 AM by Cascadian
It is apparently obvious that a mushroom cloud reported in North Korea was nuclear. It is also obvious that they are now in the nuclear power club. What is Monkey Boy going to do about this? He will probably make some comment and then forget it.

1. The only thing he can do is engage in a dialog
He has screwed that opportunity up already, so just get John Kerry in...

12. Maybe it was a setup so he would have to (mis)pronounce
nuclear. We haven't had a bushism for a few days

4. Bush Admin Says Info Is Unclear
and they don't really know what's going on. How anyone can respect this administration is beyond me. With an election coming, they don't want to touch the issue as how we had credible info to attack Iraq but now we don't have credible info to attack North Korea? Get real. They don't want to touch it.

Nor does our over-extended military have the resources to do anything about it. Nor does our economy. I hope Kerry hits hard, really hard, on this issue.

5. Bush deal with a real situation, not made up in advance?
Edited on Sun Sep-12-04 01:33 AM by The_Casual_Observer
Exactly what he did on the run up to 9/11 and 7 minutes after.
The shit can't work without a script, and what is happening now all over the place hasn't been scripted by him. he and his handlers arent in control of this shit. They only control the cable media, and a few papers, thats it.

6. In response to the nuclear test
Bush will invade Mexico. Invading poor countries with no defenses that pose no harm to the U.S. is the Bush Doctrine for dealing with legitimate threats from other nations.

9. Good One About Mexico!
But Bush has exhausted our military and our economy. No one trusts him anymore for intel. He's a weakened leader by his own actions and has cost our country its credibility.

10. Time out kiddies.
Unless products of a nuclear bomb are detected,it is just a big explosion.
For those that have no scientific schooling, mushroom clouds are a product of a very hot discharge that rises vertically. When the hot gases cool they spread out creating the mushroom.

The article says nothing about radioactive product.

so your obvious nonsense is just that. Please don't post in ignorance. If there are daughter products of a nuclear explosion I will owe you an apology.

20. It was a nuke
Conventional bombs do not create a cloud 2.5 miles in diameter.

when he talked about pulling US troops levels down in South Korea what he was really saying was for China and Japan to handle North Korea because he wasn't going to.
