God Dammitt!!!

I just came back from my college's 'club fair' where the different organizations each set up a booth where you could find out information about each of the clubs.

The Dems and Repubs were put next to one another. Not as much violence as I would have thought occured did, but the reason for that is very simple. THERE WAS NO ONE AT THE DEM'S BOOTH. Well, there was one sheepish guy wearing a Kerry/Edwards shirt. That was it. Oh, and two pieces of paper, one a list of email addresses and the other the default 'College Democrats' sign. The Republicans had candy, shirts, pictures, pamphlets, even a cut-out of Dubya! (which I wanted to punch). THIS IS THE BEST THE DEMS CAN MUSTER ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS, ONE OF THEIR TRADITIONAL BASES?!

Just in case you hadn'r noticed, college students have become increasingly more conservative over the last twenty years.

9. The only thing I know about Ky is that it's always been Pug.

I only visited the very northern part of Ky when I stayed at a motel there during a flight layover. It's a very beautiful area of the country. I sure keep hearing that the entire state is Repug.

I live in Ga. now. It's also very a Repug state. The only thing that sometimes saves us is Atlanta!

I don't know if Ky has an equivelent of Atlanta, but if it doesn't, that may be why there wasn't any representation of the Dems. Sometimes you just have to face a loosing battle.
