how bad Florida is getting beat up. I am in Charleston and we keep waiting for one to get us. They just keep heading to Florida. I would gladly take at least one of them off of those peoples hands. They need a fucking break.

4. The problem isn't getting out of the Keys

it's were to go from there. The whole state is a mess and with all of the displaced people and repair crews there are NO HOTEL ROOMS. Shelters are open but they do fill up and are not a very comfortable option. Last week for Frances, many shelters did not have enough food, so I doubt it will be any better for Ivan.

Also, the other big problem is getting gasoline. Again, most places ran out before Frances hit and have not been resupplied. Besides if they don't have electric the pumps don't work.

I'm up in Gainesville and I haven't had electric all week. Believe me, it sucks.

5. And if I remember correctly since it's been a while

since I lived in South Florida, that some parts of U.S. 1 are only two lanes. That is going to cause a nighmare backup.

8. No shit... I made the mistake of going there on a Memorial Day

weekend... I spent seven hours getting from Key West to Key Largo on Memorial Day, normally a two hour drive.
