My observation about the polls
After the Democratic convention, contrary to the double speak you may have heard, Kerry did have a bounce, and that bounce lasted for about 2 to 3 weeks.

The republican convention just ended, we are still on the first week after the convention, and many our saying it is over.

I believe this is just a normal bounce that will last for a couple of weeks, like ours did, and then return to even.

It is extremely important that we work harder than ever now!

Remember we have the issues on our side. For the last four years we have been under the most incompentent and reckless administration in years

1. You're absolutely right
Although I think the "oh no! the sky is falling!!" comments have died down for the most part. We could've used more of this last week, that's for sure.

2. I agree
and I'm reassured to see Kerry adopting an aggressive strategy. I have no idea what the WaPo poll tonight will show but the fact that the most recent polls show the race anywhere from a tie to a 7-point lead for Bush is hardly reason to give up.

3. I expect the washington post poll to be in the 7 point range
As long as we are getting the message out, and are able to build momentum on it, we will be fine

The debates are critical though, mostly because the media has done a terrible job of covering the issues throughout
