Brazil does not like us ( I know what's new :)

I am planning a cruise down the Amazon. But I have to get a Visa from Brazil...... No big deal but while UK and other countries are not required to get a Visa for Brazil, below are the prices for some countries that Brazil require to get a Visa.

1. They are pissed about the finger-printing.

They were so pissed that we were fingerprinting their citizens that they started doing it to our.

2. Wait till you get to the airport.

They have one line for "Americans" and one line for "All other foriegners" for visa processing. The Americans wait about three times as long to get through due to the fingerprinting, photographing and generally less personnel assigned. Plan your connecting flights accordingly!

Overall a beautiful place with great people though! Once I mentioned that I hate the Shrub things went a lot smoother with the locals.

Tip: Memorize "Bush has a brain like a child" in Portuguese (Bush tem um cérebro como um bebê).
