This morning good ol' reliably right-leaning NPR was covering Sen. Graham's book, and in an unsurprising turn, managed to mention the words *conspiracy theory* more than once. :eyes:

It no longer matters what information we have, it's all instantaneously marginalized by being called a conspiracy theory. And with most things as long as we continue to let them control the language they've got us by the balls. Let's turn the tables and tag their (what are HONESTLY) insane paranoid fantasies *conspiracy theories*.

is that the Democrats or the "Lib-bah-rulls" want to take all the guns away. In fact, it's the so called conservatives that want to gut the constitutions and remove freedoms, while the Dems are trying to reasonably look at the document in a way to apply freedoms to more people. Sure, have Democrats proposed legislation to limit assault weapons...yes. As someone who enjoys shooting for sport, I have no problem with limiting the types of weapons people can legally own, because I have never ever needed a fully automatic 50-cal machine gun to shoot clay pigeons or paper target. Still, as long as conspiracy nuts in the NRA spout off about having all the guns taken away and that the GOP are the only people to defend the right to own them, this shit will keep going on. Little do people realize that the Patriot Act will limit the Right to Bare Arms a lot more than the Brady Bill.
