Ignorance moment - Why do we call Cheney "Crashcart"?

it's a name for the cart with supplies for an emergency.

3. a "crashcart" is what they use in the hospital to start people's hearts

if they have heart failure. Cheney's heart is so "dicey" we call him crashcart since we assume he has a crashcart with him at all times available to give emergency aid

on edit: Lately I have been calling him "Deferment Dick"

...that 'Pickles' was a 'Dick Van Dyke Show' reference. Buddy's wife was named, in a sarcasticly affectionate way, 'Pickles'. Never seen, and something of a harpy.

I never heard that until I came to DU. I spent most of the 90's trying to avoid anything Clinton-related and all TV news (I was hard-core Democrat and voted for him, but he seemed like a Republican to me) so if it was common it never crossed my path.
