Ask Bush*: What should the "Iraq Memorial" look like?

There will be one and it will be Bush's* legacy. On it will be the names of soldiers who didn't have a choice or a chance. Very few of these dead soldiers were killed in a fair fight. Most of them neverr new what hit them.

...I hadn't even thought about that until you mentioned it.

The very first thing that came to mind, once I saw the header, was a massive pool, say, 50 feet wide and deep, filled with black oil and a pump at the bottom that created a whirlpool. Garbage and debris should be allowed to collect into the pool and recirculate. The names of the victims should be engraved on the pavement so that the oil soaked shoes of visitors could walk on them. The whole could be surrounded by bronzes shrubs, completely devoid of any foliage, but with tiny flames coming out of the ends of their branches, creating the effect of a "Burning Bush". Hot? - it should be. Unbearably hot.


I'm really into art as metaphor.
