Aron Brown did a nice interview with the BG reporter.
This reporter isn't the best speaker in the world, but he gives just the facts, and very certain answers. Aron didn't fight him. Just asked the right questions like why did you report this now (because now is when we got the info), and details on did shrub finish his service in Boston as promised (NO), and did Bartlett say he did back in 2000 (Yes, but he said he mis-spoke).

It was a good segment.

9.  real journalists do not work at cnn
with the exception of Christiane Amanpour Always on assignment somewhere.

Brown may be a decent person one on one

His employer acts as a propaganda arm for bush blatantly whoring the worst pResident in American history to the public 24\7

He comes across as disingenuous & smarmy IMO

& in his email replies he comes across as an know it all arrogant fuck.

2. I really like Aaron Brown
Unfortunately, he is being beaten up on another thread.

I liked how he opened the story.

One man went to Vietnam & one man did not. The man who went to Vietnam could have gotten out of it, but did not.

The man who did not go supported the war.

11. Agreed.
Like Olberman, he's a literate skeptic in a business overrun with vomitbag flacks like Jabba the Blakely, crypto-Repubs like Paula Zahn, whose revolting Eva Braun act is CNN's preferred demo, and the main reason they've pointedly pushed him back to 10:00 (remember the memo that said he was "too cerebral" for prime time?) and clueless bozos out of the Candy Crowley/John King Read What You Hand 'Em school.

3. I tend to like Aaron - have sent him lots of emails pleading with him...
to restore some honor and balance to the media - tonight I saw a glimmer of something that I think is very telling - his demeanor during the interview, and his comments just after, made me feel like his hands are being tied, but he KNOWS what the true story is in this election - the way that he implied all should read the story and make up their own minds (and his comments that the story was well done) speaks volumes. I think that there is lots of pressure being exerted to promote * from on high in the major cable media companies.

5. I'm sure you're right, and I'm PI**ED!
I painfully remember how they all jumped on every little tidbit of dirt on Clinton...true or not. Now, it's we have to check to see if it's true??? How about the SBVFT stories? Didn't do much checking on that, now did they>

6. Yes, the obvious double standard is painful, unfair, likely immoral -
but that is the plight we are faced with. I do think that the left is taking the road less travelled - it is the correct one, but the right path is never easy....lying, deceit, greed much easier these days. Hang in there - unfortunately, I think we have to have faith in an American Public that has become nearly as bad as * himself - dumb, lazy, incurious, greedy and in some cases, corrupt.

I am going to be an optimist - Kerry WILL win in November, and we can all start putting this country in the right direction again.

7. Cheer up, everyone!
Most people get their news on big 3 networks or locally.

CBS, NBC, & ABC tonight all did full, in depth stories on Bush, TANG, & latest revelations.
