Drudge Lies About Kerry and Shotgun...

Drudge is trumpeting that Kerry was photgraphed using a "gun which he would have banned," claiming that a bill Kerry cosponsored would have banned shotguns with "pistol grips."

He's right, the bill would have done that, but the picture Drudge shows is of Kerry using a shotgun for trapshooting which is clearly NOT a pistol grip.

Some DUers are trying to figure out what the gun is. Remington 1100 seems to be the common wisdom here, but Drudge is claiming it's a Beretta.
