AAR - That Amber stripper for Bush is hilarious!!!
If only she really were that dumb.

She can't be that dumb, that's just too easy to pick apart . . .

Hey, at least she gets naked, right?

2. right before that segment....
he had a freeper call in to say that Bush did not lie about the threat from Iraq and that even Clinton and all dems in the 1990s said that Saddam had WMD....I thought Franken's response to this was very weak....he did talk about some of the exxagerations by Bush and his thugs but there is so much evidence and facts out there that clearly shows Bush LIED about the threat.....the dems do not know how to substantively respond to the myth that Bush did not lie about the threat....makes me sick!

3. Thom Hartman is a better listen than Franken for me
Edited on Tue Sep-07-04 12:47 PM by Marianne
He has the facts and lots of informed intelligent callers who he answers and engages in good converstion, plus he connects it to past history. Franken is mostly an entertainer. When he played his flippity flop thing again today, I closed the stream. It is losing appeal because it has been played too often. It just seemed to me as self promotion. His program often is entertainment rather than real political analysis, although he does spoof Bush, he is reticent to outright challenge him, imo. I agree, he is weak on facts--

Rachel Maddow on Unfiltered has turned into an excellent interviewer. The team on Unfiltered works well together also. Morning Sedition and Mark Maron , who never hesitates to come out swinging, is also good and of course Randi Rhodes who does have her finger on the facts. I don't get to listen to Jeanine or Sam often, but I do go to the white rose society web site to catch the archive of the Mike Malloy show which I enjoy.

4. I agree with you there....
Franken does not always have all the facts....what is ironic is that the Center for American Progress, which is all about the fcats, is prominent on his show....they have David Sirota come on everyday with the fcats and then Franken half the time does not include those same facts....

Mr. Franken needs to get more specific about how Bush lied about the reasons for the war instead of simply saying that Bush exxagerated...Bush did not exxagerate, HE FUCKING LIED about WMD and all other reasons for the damn war. If I know the fcats, then why does Franken not have all the facts? It's not hard to read the NIE and compare it to the statements made by Bush and Cheney leading up to the war.
