He has the facts and lots of informed intelligent callers who he answers and engages in good converstion, plus he connects it to past history. Franken is mostly an entertainer. When he played his flippity flop thing again today, I closed the stream. It is losing appeal because it has been played too often. It just seemed to me as self promotion. His program often is entertainment rather than real political analysis, although he does spoof Bush, he is reticent to outright challenge him, imo. I agree, he is weak on facts--
Rachel Maddow on Unfiltered has turned into an excellent interviewer. The team on Unfiltered works well together also. Morning Sedition and Mark Maron , who never hesitates to come out swinging, is also good and of course Randi Rhodes who does have her finger on the facts. I don't get to listen to Jeanine or Sam often, but I do go to the white rose society web site to catch the archive of the Mike Malloy show which I enjoy.
