If you were to compile a list of the top evil or destructive living people
who would make it? Say the top 100 people. People who have done the most to set back humanity and progress and hurt people, and/or derail world relations and harmony, and/or people who do the most to promote negative and harmful attitudes and ideologies. But they have to be living.

Sorry if my suggestions are very USA-centric. IE, people who effect and have effected the world I'd want.

Try to be nonpartisan in your opinion. Even if I think we all know that people on the right have been the overwhelming "evildoers". So, lets see, I admit, I can only think of a couple people on the economic left. These are in no particular order.

Castro
Kim Jong Il

and I can think of a ton of righties.

Osama Bin Laden & Ayman al-Zawahri
Saddam Hussein
Henry Kissenger
Yasser Arafat
Rupert Murdoch
Richard Mellon Scaife
George HW Bush
George W Bush
Oliver North
David Duke
Ernst Zundel
Pat Robertson
Rev. Sun Young Moon
.....

I would also add Bill Kristol, Robert Kagan, Gary Schmidt, Rumsfeld, Perle, Wolfowitz, Woolsey, Feith and the rest of PNAC.

Also, all religious fundamentalists.

he might make the list but I wouldn't put him near the top. I don't know I give people higher grades for the more willful acts. Hannity is so stupid you know as big as he gets he's always going to be someone bigger's bitch.

Why?

Rush Limbaugh tops my list (after all of the global massacuring dictators)....he's pretty much solely responsible for poisoning the minds of millions of Americans.

I suspect, although for all I know you have a PHD in this stuff, that you haven't looked as closely as the other side of the issue as the side you're so stalwart for. And thought about what the negative consequences of lifting those sanctions would have been.

22. No, he isn't. Kissenger at least had slightly noble goals for his evil
Winning the Cold War, etc.. Kissenger is much more of a Doctor Doom type villain while people like Saddam, Al Queada, Kim Jong Il, Melosevich, are just ultra-racist, insane, monsters (can't think of an apt villain, Apocalypse? Green Goblin?). Don't give me any crap about they were just wearing different shoes. If any of the afformentioned terrorists/dictators were given the kind of control of US foreign policy or military might that Kissenger had we'd be post apocalyptic right now.

10. You really drank the cool-aid on Latin America
While he is no boy scout, I really don't see how Castro is anywhere near the top of the list. Is it because he has led Cuba to have the highest literacy rate in Latin America? Or the best health care?

Granted he is a dictator, but can you give me a reason to class him among murderous butchers?

He is no saint, but I'd say Castro was the most benevolent dictator of the 20th century.

26. Uhh, I never said that he was near the top. I specifically said that my
suggestions were in NO PARTICULAR ORDER. I also ranked him with freaking David Duke and Pat Robertson. And, I'm sorry, Castro has done more to fuckup peoples lives and the overall harmony of the world. He could have done a hellof alot for democracy if he had chosen any of the 50 odd years he's denied Cubans freedom to step the fuck down as he promised.

You are the one to have drank the kool-aid. The litteracy rate doesn't mean shit when you're anual income makes a box of pencils a dream luxury.

Edited on Tue Sep-07-04 04:43 PM by Bombtrack
a STUPID maverick thought.

I'm sorry, I'm sick of people like you who give weight to the false stereotype that those on the left can only see the wrong in what "America" and "Israel" do. That comment epitomizes that kind of ignorance that forward thinking liberals need to police for our collective credibility.

Both of those men are douchebags who NEED TO GO. But anyone who sees them as the MOST deserved of being in hell has a warped view of things.

I am "sick of people like you" who think it's fine to trash people for having opinions that *GASP* differ from yours.

I am also "sick of people like you" who make such sweeping generalizations as "people like you", and who assume that those with opinions that *GASP* differ from yours are IGNORANT.

Sorry bud, but ignorant on the mideast I most certainly am not.

But launching personal attacks on those who hold opinions not in line with your own certainly is ignorant.

And if it's just us "ignorant lefties", there sure are an overwhelmingly world majority of us, in which case, why care what a little fringe group of righties think;

I don't need to see links to know that Bush is the most hated person in the world right now. That is not the question I was asking. Bush has and Sharon haven't done things on a morally worse level that people who committ holocausts and ethnic cleansing. Or Osama Bin Laden who has murdered thousands of innocent people.
