Pataki called Bush God's chosen one
I have wondered why none of the TV talking heads have pointed out Governor Pataki's remarks at the Republican Convention....At the end of his speech he said "Ladies and Gentlemen… On this night and in this fight there is another who holds high that torch of freedom. He is one of those men God and fate somehow lead to the fore in times of challenge. And he is lighting the way to better times, a safer land, and hope."
Even though the Republicans deny this about Bush, is this not a reference to Bush being God's choice?.....Did nobody else pick this up?.....

1. That is so laughable...
to think that God would even THINK of W for anything but disaster preparation to end this world... and it may be too early for that... and Bush is no way smart enough to be THE anti-Christ (although he IS an anti-Christ person when he does not need the believers for his regime)... no way can we blame this on God!! Satan is the prince of this world and he may well have allowed the 2000 fiasco/theft of the electorate.

3. C'mon, Pataki, can't God do better than GEORGIE?
I mean, of all the freaking folks on Earth, he picks George W. Bush?

George W. Bush?!?!?!?!?!?!

That is just....wow. Mind-boggling.

I had hoped God had better judgement (geddit?).

4. God chose Bush? Then churches need to start paying taxes
Avoiding taxes is unpatriotic. GOD is a con artist. A foreign agent.

A tax evader. Let the churches pay their share. Prove their loyalty. Real Americans pay taxes.

8. Religious extremists...
Manipulating people of faith is their specialty. The 9/11 attacks put the fear of God in many people, and made them ripe for the picking. These are nothing more than snake oil salesmen.. selling Bush as a "godly" man. He's not. Before 9/11 his daily routine was: wake up. eat. work out. play video games. lunch. video games. nap. dinner. sleep. NEVER was it mentioned that he read the Bible. NOW it's reported that he reads the bible daily... it's a rouse. it's a fake. According to the bible, there is a special place for people who use God that way... it would be a good idea for them to own some asbestos undies.

10. Where did all these
quasi-relgious freaks come from? Was Pataki always this way? Was he brainwashed? Because I can tell you that bush is definitely not God's chosen one. These people need to crawl back under their rocks.

13. It's amazing these "so called" religious
fanatics claim God has ordained * yet call UBL a terrorist for his religious insanity.

Jesus Christ would be kicked out of the Republican Party, a liberal peacemaker who taught love and compassion.

19. I picked up on it. That means Pataki is part of the
Christian Right (as is *).

It's shameful to use God's name for political gain. But what else is new, when it comes to the GOP?
