24. That link doesn't mention Carville or Begala. But Kerry DID take
on a couple of other people who formerly worked for Clinton. I forget their names (Sasso is one, maybe?).

5. would that mean they're BOTH off Crossfire ?
not that losing Crossfire is such a bad thing. it's become utterly unwatchable for the most part... more screaming crosstalk virtually devoid of content.

I agree that the show is nothing more than a holler fest...glad these 2 guys are involved with the campaign.

30. Alterman would never do anything like that.
The man has too much credibility then to participate in the same nonsense he knows is destroying our country!

That show appeals to an almost Jerry Springer type crowd!

9. I hope so.
You're right, it has become unwatchable. I can't look at Bob "Piano Mouth" Novak for more than a few seconds without my treason alarm going off. The idea that he's not in prison, let alone making millions in the media, makes me want to hurl.

12. That cross-talking/screaming is a Repug tactic
In the training of talk-meisters, the think tank operatives prepare their little flying/talking monkeys with strategic media debate weapons.

One is speaking over the opponent when important or damaging point is made. Out shouting has become more wide spread as Bush World -- less substance, more lies -- becomes the only recourse for defending a dry drunk, unaccomplished dullard and sadist.

All the rest of the Media is working for the Republican party!
CNN is just Candy Crowley's day job!!

I saw an ad for crossfire which had only Novak and Begala. If he is working for the campaign, don't know how he will do both.

best friend.

I would not trust Begala as far as I could throw him and Carville is SLEEPING with the opposition.

Begala attacked Cynthia McKinney for her asking what Bush KNEW after 9-11. We now KNOW Bush knew but Begala crucified her for it and lost us a seat in Congress.

Do a little research and you will find that McKinnon (Rove's media man) and Begala are as tight as two roaches in a pistachio shell.

They both woirked for the right wing's mouthpiece Public Strategies Inc. ( Rove's low profile but high powered lobbying and media advisors)

Check it out.

Begala's sister was Gore's 2000 media person. They cut Gore off at the knees too.

I think this is a BIG mistake.

Begala is a blithering idiot. And Carville is just plain nasty (altho I do not mind him telling the campaign how to BE nasty -- I just do not want him out front for us or getting any secrets he can leak to the enemy)

You can't take THAT away from them. Hopefully, they will work just as hard for Kerry. If Kerry saw them as YOU do, he wouldn't have hired them.

19. GHWB got Clinton elected
be real. I know it doesnt fit into the fantasy purveyed by the right wing Democratic Party elite who make up the propaganda that kept us at bay after Coup 2000. Begala is a fuck, and Carville is an overpriced, lying streetwalker. Vive Chavez!

Carville didnt take GHWB from an 83% approval rating.
And Bush aint sleeping with Mary Matlin. Of course they are BOTH after Chavez. Carville needs a series of brutal beatings.

nobody wanted either candidate in 1992, which is why Perot was ahead. undecided voters stood at 50% before the Democratic convention.
