I don't and won't beleive it!. I work with repukes all day and they would have had a great time pushing this in my face.

There is no way that the polls change that far overnight.

I Refuse to believe any of this an I am going to bed now!!!
F(Screw) Them!!!

Thank you all on DU for bringing people like me the truth!!!

I know I have done some
bad things. You all called me on it!!!

Thank you all.

I am just mad that the Time poll has Bush up by 11%. I should just go to bed and I will.

Thank you all again!!! DU rocks!!!

1. When you check your thread in the AM... I can tell you that
Zogby polls are still holding Kerry/Bush about even. It all depends on who is doing the polling.

Hope you rested well....and good morning :D

2. Hey, it isn't the first time W's been ahead
This is a pathetic lead for an incumbent to have, really. He got maybe a 10-point swing out of the convention, at most, and every incumbent who's had less than 15 has been replaced, IIRC.

His approval rating bounces around between 42 and 52%, depending on which polls you watch. Incumbents with less than 50% approval generally do not win.

May as well mention that to your co-workers if they bring it up on Tuesday.

3. I saw the 11 point lead story too
I can't believe there was any bounce from that convention. We had Zell doing his Hitler/Mussolini act and Bush offering all these nice platitudes and plenty of promises. 4 years of nothing, I think it is time to bring back "Where's the beef?"

4. The thing is that reportedly. . .
this poll was taken before the start of the Repug convention. I've just got serious questions about it's accuracy. It's got a pretty high stated margin of error (4 points) but I'm thinking that unless other polls that will come out next week show a similar leap--that something just isn't kosher about this one.

5. When I view the page, the top selling books ad at the bottom lists...
Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them.

Oh, the Irony of it!

6. Most recent Zogby poll shows a statistical dead heat.
Something's **way** off with that Time poll.
