Anyone have any stats on this? I have been reading bits and pieces were the businesses are saying business is slower than normal. If business isn't booming and so much has been spent on security I suspect a net loss for New York. I also have been reading where the Republicans are very stingy with their tipping so for the service industry that can't help.

1. The thousands of false arrest and detention lawsuits
will cost the city lots of money. They should bill the RNC.

2. Randi Rhodes is screaming bloody murder right now
on her show, says it is impossible to do anything around NYC. I imagine the businesses are taking a serious hit.
