Another MoveOn add idea...

Wouldn't it be interesting if (as inspired by the Daily Show), an announcer introduces two George Bush's. One of them says something, "I'm a uniter not a divider," and the other one says, "I call upon congress to send to the states for ratification an amendment..." The add could include video quotes from the pResident to the effect that the U.S. doesn't need a Homeland Security Department, and then a video of the same man calling for such a department.

This would only serve to highlight the president and how his position has changed in specific instances.

The add could then end with a clip of G.W.'s statement a few days ago, "Be careful of somebody whose position shifts in the wind."

This is definitely an ad that needs to be made. A lot of people accept the "flip flop" label about Kerry but don't see it for Bush. Eroding bush's supposed moral high ground on this issue can't hurt, in the same way that Bush trying to erode kerry's moral highground on vietnam service was in Bush's campaign's interest. the difference, though, would be that this time it would be the truth and in Bush's own words. He has given us so much material... No sense in not using it.
